This one has all the other features of the previous version like rapid fire, on the fly sensitivity adjustment for mouse, sixaxis motion control and dominate accuracy with the mouse.

I love my FragFX SE as it gives me a very big advantage over my competition online. Right out of the box it works wonders and very easy to use.

Great reviews from everywhere for this controller, and great support from SplitFish for this product. If you ever wonder why you are getting murked online when playing MW2, Killzone, Uncharted, MAG, or Battlefield, it’s probably because the gamers are using a FragFX controller.

As you can tell I’m very happy with my FragfX SE. :-)

It’s a mouse with excessively hard-to-press left and right buttons. Otherwise, you can run glitch-free on the lower sensitivity settings; but, in reality I haven’t played a single game that supported the highest sensitivity settings. Also, it’s somewhat of a pain to collaborate both the in-game sensitivity settings with this thing’s own sensitivity settings (the reason I resold mine). I guess if you despise using the dual-joysticks to aim, it’s an alternative; but, to call it an ‘edge’ in gaming — it depends on the game. Future models should either fine-tune the scrolling to allow for at least 1600dpi support (if the games allow for it), or perhaps load pre-made game profiles, to help take the pain out of collaborating the settings for each mainstream game (at least). Oh, and someone needs to fix those left and right buttons on the mouse — they’re entirely too hard to compress, and prevent pressing the buttons ‘fast enough.’ Browsing the internet with the mouse is okay though; but, I actually prefer the controller for 1-handed browsing while eating.

Worked great, for about a month before it died. Replaced it with a Fragnstein. The FragFX had slightly better performance as far as smooth movement, but was a cheap, lightweight, undependable piece of junk.

If you are a Computer gamer that is tired of upgrading your box every time a new games comes out… this is the solution for you…

I have tried ALL of the Ps3 mouse controllers out ther…. (ALL of them! ) even previous versions of the fragfx or the newer ones (wireless)

Let me tell you.. so far all the wireless ones have LAG! yes LAG! (even the fragfx pro wireless) it doenst feel right … is just a micro second but you feel the lag and get kill… don’t believe me? get a wireless one and try it side by side you’ll see what i’m talking about…

I have cables with a passion … but i love to play MW2 … and this is the controller for you if you like FPS in a computer…

I have tried two older versions of this controller … they are CRAP … I broke 3! of them just playing… quality of the build sucked… but the V.2 SE is totally different (new users may find it crappy… but trust me the older versions where totally worst)

just make sure you update the firmware to the latest and have the correct settings for the game (sensitivity wise)… and you are ready to go…

*you have to love the rapid fire of this control (customizable turbo controller button) is great when using non automatic guns in MW2 (just this is a must buy)

Initial impression is not favorable. It’s too jumpy, has bad ergonomics, and is very awkward. I like the concept but in practice it doesn’t work.

I bought this solely for “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2″ on the PS3 on the urging of an extremely well ranked PC-based COD player. The concept is intriguing since in theory you can move a mouse cursor much faster than scrolling via a joystick. I did a bit of research, watched the YouTube videos of insane snipers using it, and compared the SE to the Pro (it sounds like the Pro has minor updates with the majority of the cost being the wireless feature).

I finally pulled the trigger on purchasing the FragFX V.2 SE after receiving a $20 coupon from Amazon (for purchasing MW2). The final price was $38.49 shipped free with Amazon Prime – not too bad.

I adjusted the sensitivity (in the PS3 UI and in the nice dial mounted on the side of the “nun chuck”). Instantly I knew it wasn’t for me. My time in “The Pit” (the one player first level) fell significantly and after numerous run throughs I still didn’t like it. The more I used it the more I disliked it.

Here are the main problems:

1) It’s twitchy. It jumps around horizontally and vertically too much. I tried it on various surfaces but nothing seemed to fix the problem. I’ve never seen an optical mouse behave this way so I was a bit surprised.

2) The ergonomics are poor. Actually, they’re decent… but it’s sized for a very small person. The Circle/Square/Triangle/X button are located under the right thumb, but far enough back toward the wrist that I had a hard time reaching them – particularly the “X” button, which is one of the most important.

3) It’s awkward overall. If it was up to me, I would have made a controller identical to an existing PS3 controller that simply adds a mouse. There’s no need to relearn both hands when the mouse is the only added benefit.

Overall: 2-stars. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone and mine is being returned less than 24 hours of being opened. If you’re really interested in using a mouse, just buy COD for the PC. (A PC version would cost less than the FragFX Pro, too!)

Great concept, poor execution.
